I didn’t see the photo but this is about the David Lean 1948-49 version called Oliver Twist. The Moody version was Oliver! around 1969 and Fagin was turned into a sweet old gentleman and played by a Jew. I don’t remember any complaints about that movie but I could be wrong.
Five minutes after I posted that I wondered if maybe I had my films mixed up.
