When was that? The late 60’s?
Seriously, I remember the older professors there claiming they could look out their office windows and see the cows on the neighboring farms. I couldn’t see it since by the time I got there in the 90’s it was a developed suburban area. Haven’t been back to the campus since the late 90’s though, so I can only imagine what it is like these days.
I had an uncle go there in the 80s.
Early 1980’s when I was staying in Mallard Creek. I remember people wondering why it was called UNC-Charlotte.
