If you had read the replies at that so-called garbage thread, you would know that no one took this story seriously. It was obvious from the start that it was a set up to make Buttgig look bad. A Conservative did not fabricate this story.
It was probably a setup to inoculate him from a real sexual harassment accusation. Next time he can claim, “it was a hoax last time, it’s a hoax now too”.
