Had some door-panels stolen out of my vintage Ford PU a few months back. Pretty much knew the local law weren’t going to have that on there list of priorities.
Being the type of person that I am, I searched for about a week until I located them..... in another guys truck.
Faced with two options... 1) confront the guy in a not so nice way, recover my door-panels, high probability of job loss. 2) Notify local law, they do the dirty work, keep my job.
I chose option 2 though option 1 was mighty tempting ATM. By weeks end I had my door-panels back.... hand delivered by local law.
Sometimes initiative, a little luck, and decent local law makes for a positive outcome.
Nuh huh.
P.S. I was tinfoil hatting in that previous comment. Thought it was rather too obvious to need a /weirdo tag.
5 minutes and it was just who, not when, where or what. Yeah that’s actually advanced warning.
You had me going.
The FBI did such a good job when they were warned about the Parkland shooter, I’m surprised they didn’t take care of this problem with the same efficiency. /s
