The FBI revealed on Monday that it had received a warning about the Poway synagogue shooter five minutes before he carried out a deadly shooting attack.
On Saturday, during morning services, John T. Earnest opened fire on worshippers at the Chabad of Poway, killing one and wounding three, including the synagogue's rabbi and an eight-year-old girl.
The FBI had received a warning about Earnest minutes before the attack, but did not have enough time to locate the suspect.

I trust nothing the FBI says anymore.
At first it was multiple tips from multiple people several hours before the event... now it was 5 minutes before to make it seem like they aren’t complete retards.
They may not have had a specific target either... which makes it tough.
My question is why the FBI can only imagine coming into a specific target like gangbusters and stopping the perp in mid shooting rampage. There are local police. There are a limited number of synagogues at which a putative rampager can go to find his putative rampagees. If they had just issued an alert to the local police as soon as they are warned, the local cops could have handled it. But instead they’re saying that “we didn’t have enough time to find Earnest”. Don’t find him. Warn cops around his targets, and have them look for a nut with a gun. Car 54, where were you?
Some people can over a mile in five minutes.

When I get upset at police it is when they stand down as Antifa or BLM thrashes people. Apparently that means they were ordered by certain types of mayors police chiefs to stand down. They may have done so. Even if they did they could not have located the suspect in 5 minutes. They also did not know specifically where he would attack.

When every second is a matter of life or death, the police are only minutes away.
The FBI should have called the synagogue and warned them to lock their doors and to be prepared.

When I was 10 years old my bike was stolen from the bike rack outside a public pool. It was locked with a chain but the chain was cut. I walked through the park adjacent to the pool on my way home and found a police officer. He was a fat slob actually eating a donut when I came across him. I told him what happened and he said “this the season” and walked away. I learned all I needed to know about the police that day..

I dislike the FBI’s handling of this situation, and probably the police would have flubbed it badly even if the FBI had called them. But there is a principle called Occam’s razor, that all phenomena must be explained by the simplest theory available. It could be that this is all a conspiracy, orchestrated by the deep state to change the subject, or whatever. But a simpler explanation is available, which is that law enforcement often does stupid stuff in a life-and-death situation and people often die as a result. I.e., Officer Tooty is now a fed. That is the explanation we must presume to be true until there is some proof of a conspiracy.
The alternative, pushing a narrative and then cherry-picking the facts that support the narrative, is what has made leftards so f#^$ed in the head to date. Let’s not go there.
