The media has a memory for its own malfeasance measured in minutes.
Even as the media suggests that conspiracy theories about Jews are the province of fringe alt-right crazies, here's a flashback conspiracy theory from Politico about Chabad, the Orthodox Chassidic Jewish group whose synagogue came under fire in the Passover attack.
Politico, the same site behind DeSantis’ fifth “race-related” controversy, ran a smear piece targeting Chabad Chassidim, an Orthodox Jewish denomination, as “Trump’s kind of Jews”. Collateral damage for that one included a Rabbi in Long Island who had previously been in the news for the way that his synagogue had weathered the damage from Sandy, but was now deemed to be one of the “shortest routes” between Trump and Putin.
The Rabbi was forced to issue a statement denying that, “I nor any of our staff know, or have been in contact with, any current or former members of the Ukrainian parliament.”
Politico pushed its smear piece with conspiratorial tweets like, "The Chabad is unexceptional, save for one thing: Some of the shortest routes between Trump and Putin run through it."

The media falsely accused the Jewish group of betraying our country.
Read the article, it is very informative.
The shooter, John Earnest, was a Trump hater. He posted a open letter on 8chan. He wrote that President Trump was a "Zionist, Jew-loving, anti-White, traitorous c**ksucker."
It seems likely that the shooter was influenced by the Jew hating, Trump hating media.

The irony is that you could attend 1000 sermons by Chabad Rabbis, and hear absolutely nothing about politics, right or left. That’s not what the organization is about.
Not to mention, this “white supremacist” stuff doesn’t even really exist BUT FOR the promotion of the media, because they needed a bete noir to flog for their hoaxes, and the race card got all worn out.
Remember when that Richard Spencer guy had an event... and the overwhelming majority of people who showed up were the Communist national media flacks.
Media should be charged as co-conspirators.
We should see the rabbi at the White House for a medal or something. Anything just to rub the fascists’ noses in it.

At first glance I'd doubt media bigotry tying Chabad to Trump, for any reason beyond positions, and Putin for any reason was a factor in choosing this Synagogue. But who knows. Perhaps the FBI through analysis of his computer, but they'd never let us know since it's not anti Trump. Media and web bias, mostly on the far left, certainly is a factor.
