Critics say that right-to-work laws have devastated local labor groups around the country, which have already faced a precipitous decline since their peak in the 20th century.

ILLEGAL ALIENS have devastated UNIONIZED labor across the country.

I spoke recently with a former construction worker in California, and he described how ILLEGAL ALIENS have displaced so much of his unionized trade. (His word, so corrections, if any, invited.)

And, the UNION BOSSES have greater allegiance to the Dems than to their workers, and I can say this as a former union member.

I wish more folks understood that. As you said, the union bosses are almost always hard-core Democrats. But the rank-and-file guys, politically they mirror America in general.

So a fair question would be: Why aren’t the bosses more like the rank-and-file?

It’s because most union offices are - essentially - hereditary positions. The FDR-era boss hands off his office to the JFK-era boss, who hands it off to the Clinton-era boss. Etc.

And union elections? I could tell you stories that would make Stalin blush.

More plainly stated, Harris's remarks mean that she advocates "banning freedom of choice for individual workers."

Here, again, those "freedom of choice" Democrats are hypocrites as they pick and choose which so-called "freedoms" they would allow others were they in powerful positions in government over the rest of us.
