WHCA President: My Crying Son Asked Is Trump 'Going to Put Me in Prison?'
newbusters.org ^ | 4/28/2019 | Tim Graham

The White House Correspondents Dinner was again a hostile zone for President Trump, underlining it's no mystery why the president skips it. White House Correspondents Association president Olivier Knox of Sirius XM Radio first paid tribute to the group's lawyer, who filed a brief against CNN screamer Jim Acosta being denied his press pass for a few days. "No president should get to pick and choose who covers him!" And then Knox went full Drama Queen:

And yet, I still separate my career into the period before February of 2017, and what came afterwards. And that's because February 2017 is when the president of the United States called us the enemies of the people. A few days later, I was driving my then 11-year-old son somewhere, probably soccer practice, when he burst into tears and asked me is Donald Trump going to put me in prison?' At the end of a family trip to Mexico, he mused that if the president tried to keep me out of the country, quote 'at least uncle Josh is a good lawyer and he'll get you home."

Knox said......”This is not his [Trump’s] dinner — it is ours,” ... “And it should stay ours.”

They’ve got the gall to say that while they’re ‘guests’ at the White House. Then they play the victim card!

She ought to braid those rugs into a plant holder or something, like macrame.

“I was driving my then 11-year-old son somewhere, probably soccer practice...”

Your kid probably isn’t man enough to play soccer . . . but he probably knows how to spell Participation Trophy . . . in the Girl Scouts . . .

He really is stupid.

5 year old children do not read the NY Times or spend time looking at Fox News.

Kids that age tend to repeat what they hear at home.,

So the kid heard his parents worrying about going to jail.

Now why would they worry?

“A few days later, I was driving my then 11-year-old son somewhere, probably soccer practice,”

“Probably soccer practice” is the tell that this is a lie.

What eleven year old boy bursts into tears about what’s going on in the news?

The father must be brainwashing the kid.

The juxtaposition of this story and “Chabad shooting victim named as Lori Gilbert-Kaye, said to have shielded rabbi” on the FR listing really puts things in perspective.

A woman who put herself in harm’s way, dying to shield a rabbi vs the whining, complaining hater. A journey from self sacrifice & heroism to sniveling narcissism.

An 11 year old is too stupid to come up with that, but since your a “journalist” I guess if you are low enough to lie to the public, then lieing to your kid is nothing. Maybe the best answer is that the audience is as dumb as your kid who buys it, where as you think we’re just as stupid to buy this crap from a proven liar disfused as a “journalist”.

His 11 year old son is probably the only person who believes anything he says.

That won’t last long.

Eventually the child will grow up and realize his father is a pathetic, whining liar.

“Dad remember when I was only 11 and you deliberately told me lies just to make me cry.”

If the son really did break down in tears and ask if Trump was going to put him in prison, he could only have thought so if abusive parents and/or teachers were filling him with heinous lies about Trump.
