This is the most depressing thing I’ve ever read. Can all of this possibly be true?

I’m with you! And I have often wondered about other mothers who dress their young girls in clothes that say “Juicy” on them. How could that send the wrong message to all the pedos out there? :(

Yes it can.
But the people who benefit will do their damndest to cater to your wishes that it’s all a horrible dream.

No, it all cannot be true. But it can be highly hyped and exaggerated and used to remove constitutional protections.

This is the most depressing thing Ive ever read. Can all of this possibly be true? From How to spot fake news, propaganda and deceptive Facebook posts
- Watch for posts that evoke a strong, visceral emotional response, especially if the content is inflammatory, controversial or divisive.
- Pay attention to the story the post is trying to tell, both visually and textually. Ask yourself whom the narrative serves and whether there might be a hidden agenda.
- Watch for absolutist language and everything you think you know is wrong messaging.
- Be aware of cultural fears, tropes, and stereotypes that the post might be playing into.
- When in doubt: if you notice yourself getting riled up, pause. Take a breath. Ask yourself why youre having that reaction. Theres a good chance its by design.

This is the most depressing thing Ive ever read. Can all of this possibly be true? Sadly, I think it underestimates the problem.

This is the most depressing thing Ive ever read. Can all of this possibly be true? I am inclined to doubt it. My guess is that only a small percentage of men find underage girls to be sexually attractive at all (I don't), and successively smaller percentages of that small percentage would be willing to accept the risk of being convicted of statutory rape, accept the risk of contracting STDs from a prostitute, accept the physical risks of exposure to the criminal culture of underage prostitution, AND be willing and able to pay for all that. In other words, I bet the nightmare described in this article is a very long way from being commonplace in America.
