What's wrong with that?
Any board that has 72 members is asking for trouble.
Too big, too inefficient, too easy to escape accountability
All organizations suck in one way or another, political BS eventually creeps in.
Don’t you have the ability to block the number?
I agree! The NRA needs 20 million members, not 5.5 million. This is the only organization that the ‘tards and gungrabbers fear!

Agree 100%. The act of voting takes forever. Especially when you know nothing about the folks running. A guessing game, pin the tail on the board member.
That would require caller ID.
You don't understand what a cheap bastard I am. ;-)
TRUE.

Umm.. would that be because they represent those of us that *gasp* use firearms??
Yep, and one of the reasons I haven't been an NRA member for a long time.
Everybody that’s ever enjoyed a cool crisp day of fall hunting or a day at the range should join the NRA NOW to protect the gun rights! This needs to remain one of the last countries on earth to allow freedom!
Ok folks. Here is the American Heroes on NRA TV. Appears be one of the points of contention. It is a multi million contract.

Does it fit the agenda of NRA? Might be a nice series but...
Definitely North is dealing from two decks that he should have avoided.
We have details of LaPieres allegation, no details form North... ...
LaPierre has been there forever. He knows where all the bodies are buried and I’m sure notified all other board members of that fact.
Neal Knox RIP.
The NRA is going to have a hard path in front of them

“Wayne Lapierre is also a good guy .”
No, he isn’t. He’s kept me from even considering joining the NRA since the 1990s or early 2000s. I don’t recall what the particular bill was that ticked me off because it was one of those overly broad bills that tries to do so many things that the public can’t keep track of what congress is sneaking by us, but I do recall it involved in LaPierre (and the NRA along with it) being perfectly OK with trading away first amendment rights, for a slightly more favorable government interpretation of second amendment rights. His willing to trade away other freedoms for insignificant “brownie points” has always stuck with me. This was around the time I turned 18, and it was my first exposure to LaPierre and I vowed then I would never join the NRA as long as he was in charge of it. I know the NRA is a single issue organization, but if you willingly accept chipping away at the protections of one of the our first ten amendments, you legitimize chipping away at all of them.
I don’t care if lucifer is running the NRA. We either hang together or hang separately! Oliver North is an honerable man that might not have fit in. Wayne LaPierre is meaner than a snapping turtle in a pond of frogs.
