Well another Earth Day has come and gone, a false holiday where progressives the world over show off their carbon footprints by getting in cars or planes and traveling to huge gatherings where they praise each others planetary stewardship while condemning those who arent as enlightened.
At these events, carbon-footprint hypocrites like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Al Gore are celebrated while enthusiasts paint their communist agenda in greenwashed color.
When asked to justify this blatant carbon-footprint hypocrisy, the best the left can come up with is, Well, these people have big platforms with huge audiences, so their political impact is more important than their wasteful, energy-intensive lifestyle. In response to accusations of hypocrisy, AOC said the Green New Deal is about systemic change not about personal gas-guzzling practices. Leftists further snark that the focus on hypocrisy (and individual accountability) is an outgrowth of a small government and personal freedoms political philosophy.

Ever since the first ‘Earth Day’ was declared these greenies have been harping.
First it was water. We cleaned it up.
Then it was air. We cleaned it up.
Then it was commercial waste sites, ozone, acid rain, etc.
It is always something. They are running out of bad things to bitch about and keep themselves relevant and feeling they are accomplishing something in their pathetic little lives.
Now they bitch about carbon and anthropomorphic global warming. All of us depend on carbon to survive. Climate is what it is. What is next?
It has already started: getting rid of people and sending us back to the stone age. (of course, these elites will be exempt)
The arrogance will not sit well at judgement time. Being good stewards is one thing. Reverting to living in the Stone Age, not so much.
