Well maybe.
There is this: “However, there are some conflicting posts which claim the rocket is actually a research project and even one which claims it is a harmless civilian system.”
Not sure, I am sure there are much more knowledgable people than I who do, however.

That would be my thought as well. With that kind of speed it would seem like hitting a moving target would be difficult. Sure, a ship isn’t a plane, but at that speed it seems like it would have the possibility of outrunning it’s targeting data. Things that fast (Like ICBMs) are typically targeted towards things that can’t get away.

And thanks to the free traitors, we paid for this.

And are generally armed such that a miss of a couple hundred yards doesn't matter much..

“Scramjets can theoretically reach a maximum speed of up to Mach 15 - which is more than 15,000 mph.”
By a rough calculation, the speed of sound in air only exceeds 1,000 mph at temperatures above about 385 degrees Fahrenheit.

Much as Japan could whack us at Pearl Harbor, they couldn’t follow up with an invasion or occupation. Neither could China. I can’t imagine why they’d feel the need to try.
That said, if enough of those missiles were used as EMP devices, invading in a few weeks would be like attacking 18th century Argentina with modern weapons. Good luck Argentina, and thank the military for our boomer subs.

And of course we are just sitting still with no technology advances in any area since, oh I guess 1995 or so Reality is twofold. 1. We have at this point a truly massive edge, militarily, over China and the entire world COMBINED. 2. CHINA has no death wish and you can bet they are well aware that just one facet of our military force, about 18 missile subs we have on constant patrol have the fire power to annihilate any nation or nations which are targeted. Each missile carries up to 12 warheads with each warhead being 5 times more powerful than what were dropped on Japan to end the war. Do the math. Eighteen subs x 24 missiles per sub x 12 warheads per missile equals close to FIVE THOUSAND NUKES on undetectable submarines each of which can be anywhere on the planet in 7 days or less. Can we be attacked? Certainly we can but the attacking country would be totally obliterated almost immediately and they all know it. Only crazed people like the suicidal Muslims would even think of an attack and that is reason enough to do anything we can to rid the world of them.

...could rock Donald Trump’s defence chiefs at the Pentagon.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but those are not The Donald’s defense chiefs. They are OUR defense chiefs.
And they spelled defense wrong. ;)

These mach10+ missiles really make me nervous. They’re carrier killers and they are very good at it. However, anyone that fires one at a carrier group better fire all of them and have a decisive victory because the payback will be complete destruction. According to this... https://www.businessinsider.com/irans-arsenal-of-sunburn-missiles-are-more-than-enough-to-close-the-strait-2012-2
...iran has em now also. We (may or may not)/s have means to take them out while in flight....i sure hope that the control crew are frosty and intel is accurate when if/when things heat up.

You wonder how they got that extra 9 mph out of it! K&N Racing stickers ? or the awesome wing on the trunk?
