The heat is on - and Earth is scorching.

A new global warming report illustrates the dire consequences of unabated global warming, especially if temperatures rise another 2.5 degrees.

The findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report mankind’s activities have already caused nearly two degrees of global warming above preindustrial levels.

Global warming is likely to reach that level between 2030 and 2052.

Net emissions of carbon dioxide throughout the world would need to fall by 45% by 2030 to keep temperatures stable by 2050, concluded the report.
