When people suffer these kinds of physical traumas, the psychological damage should not be underestimated.

It is a given that the victims and the witnesses who had to observe such a horrific scene will struggle with PTSD.

When we pray, let’s be sure to include the innocents who were forced to watch as this brutal attack unfolded, as well as the victims, their families, and loved ones.

I’ll pray for actual victims and their families.

Not for people “who saw something bad”

Witnessing car and plane crashes and then seeing the dead and injured close up is bad enough, but when witnesses know it was not an accident and perpetrated by the same kind of terrorist(s) who hit the U.S. on September 11, 2001, I would think that a civilian would be extremely disturbed by it, if not somewhat traumatized...And I’m not even a doctor!
