Governor Hogan has done a good job here in Maryland. I voted for him twice. (Many conservatives opposed him in his primary, but got fully behind him once he was nominated.)
Hogan did an excellent job handling the Baltimore riots, when the city government did nothing. He’d cut taxes as much as he could, given a heavily Democrat legislature. There are things I don’t like, but I expected that.
I am fine with Hogan as governor of a state like Maryland. Unfortunately, he’s term limited and I don’t know if Lt. Gov. Rutherford (the latest of three straight African American Lieutenant Governors) can hold the office.
But Hogan as president is a different thing. He’s too Establishment for me. He’s certainly no Trump. He would be better than anyone the Dems have to offer, but he’s something of a Bushie type.
Haley is the only one of interest and I like to think she is too honorable to wage a campaign right now. The others will be as successful as Martin O'Malley.

To be fair Hogan never proclaimed himself as a Conservative (no Conservative could win much of anything statewide in this commie craphole where I used to live). By Maryland standards he has been a great governor, but Maryland Standards are abysmally low as there are only three meaningful jurisdictions, all chock full of rabid leftists. Besides, they had a streak of governors going to jail after their terms. Even the County Executive of the most populous county got caught with a barrel of cash and went on a ten-year vacation.

As a lifelong Maryland resident, I must ask: What the hell good has Hogan done for my state???!!!

Well, according to the polling, it’s still “the economy stupid,” so look where we are today with both the NASDAQ and S&P hitting all-time highs and the DJI within $200 of doing the same thing! While Trump will do a lot more between now and the 2020 election, If he can keep the economy going anywhere near the numbers that are coming in today ($3 trillion increase in market value since his inauguration), he will win going away! You don’t have to do much persuading when people’s incomes are rising like they are today. What pi$$es me off is that we had to wait 16 years into the new century to get us a President who works day and night for the people.
Well, it is true that Trump was not exonerate from possible obstruction of justice, but Hogan is speaking from his own sh*thouse of corruption in his “cancer charity” fund (#HoganStrong). Where that money goes, and how much of it actually goes to cancer causes, nobody really knows.
