The crushing of Wilson-Raybould and Philpott is proof Canada is run by a Liberal cabal

It was no coincidence that the current unravelling of the Liberal party was caused by the principled objections regarding SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. by two political newcomers against a concerted attempt to subvert justice.

It is also no coincidence that both were female and both from outside the Quebec-Ottawa power centre that has controlled postwar Canada for generations.

Clearly, they failed to realize the party’s lengthy tenure in Ottawa is based on putting all things Quebec or Liberal above everything else. Instead, they collided with this coven of Liberal civil servants, corporations, media sympathizers, law firms, lobbyists, and caucus colleagues who salute first and never ask questions.

A very good description of how things work in d'Ottawa. The 'elites' from 'the right' schools in d'Ottawa (such as Ashbury College (K-12) and l'Université d'Ottawa), Quebec (McGill, Laval, Concordia) and Rosedale (a very toney, liberal neighbourhood of Toronto), end up being the senior civil servants. Because the civil service (up to Assistant Deputt Minister) is NOT replaced when governments change, and hiring is handled by the 'non-partisan' (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) Public Service Commission, the existing lefties high up in the hierarchy, continue to hire fellow lefties from the 'right schools'. They, in turn, hire similar types, and so it continues on down the line.

When Conservatives form the government, they are faced with an entrenched bureaucracy of mostly lefty, Liberal supporting, public servants, often hostile, some of whom do all they can to leak negative things to the presstitutes. (Similar to what has, and is happening to Donald Trump in DC, that is, District of Corruption.)

Because of this, and a Canadian press corps that ALMOST makes CBS appear 'fair and balanced', Conservatives do not often get elected and rarely re-elected. It is exceedingly difficult to drain the swamp, even moreso than the battle that PDJT has. Draining the swamp that is d'Ottawa-Gatineau will only come through an act of God.

Canada... just north of here, right?

Just kidding. But it’s kinda funny. Canada is so quiet that I know zero about the politics up there. I mean, that entire post was Greek to me. I probably know more about the politics of Egypt than Canada.

Allan Fotheringham, a well known, now retired, political columnist once described d’Ottawa as ‘The city that fun forgot’ and Ennui on the Rideau’.

As I tell my Canadian friends - Turdo is your Obama.

Put a stake through his political heart or you’ll lose your country forever.

As it is down here in the USA, Civil Service sounded like a good idea in theory, but has only served to produce armies of ultraleftist, unaccountable bureaucrats that feather their nests and undermine non-leftist governments. A perpetual Derp State. We need to go back to straight-up patronage. Everyone goes out at the end of an administration, all the way down to janitor. Let them go get a job in the private sector where they have to produce real results. Serving in government should be a sacrifice, not the place you go to get rich.

The article doesn’t really explain how these women were “crushed and spat-out.” Were they subject to constant investigations? Constant media criticism? Lawsuits? Drummed-up criminal charges? Did they fail to get re-elected because of one or more of these things? Or were they just not able to get anything done?

Exactly. I 100% agree with that idea. It was sold as an anti-corruption measure, but it removed the ability of the president to govern. Before the civil service act, a failure of the administration could be laid 100% at the feet of the President.
Now, not so much.

The good news... This may be the end for the Liberal party and the emergence of the NDP as the true left, the Conservatives as the true right and the Liberals eliminated from power completely.

The Liberals lost opposition status after Mulcair’s failed ‘coup’ that thankfully was thwarted by Madame Jean, who turns out was a true patriot and very good representative for the Queen and her wishes.

Trudeau took the Liberals from third party status to governing based on one promise and one promise only... Legalized Marijuana and he managed to screw up that one promise by making provincial authorities responsible for enforcing regulations and sales... Causing a complete debacle with most Canadian’s ignoring legal pot in favour of their old illegal dealer instead.... Legalizing pot and selling it for double the price of illegal pot hasn’t worked very well.

Add to that Trudeau’s ineptness and lack of experience and the ensuing debacles including failures in the areas of diplomacy, free trade, pipeline construction, immigration, and his love of enemy combatants and handing out millions to the likes of Omar Khadr, etc... And then top that off with the SNC Lavalin scandal, his offensive behaviour towards woman and those in the indigenous community (two base voter groups who vote Liberal, but will vote NDP instead) and Just not Ready Justine (the phony feminist) Trudeau will be toast and the Liberal party will be toast along with him.

For a party to go from third, to first, to third again does not bode well for the Liberal party.

In a nutshell the situation is this:

Trudeau is a politician who was installed by the global elite, like Obama and Macron

There was a scandal involving a large Quebec company, Gadaffi’s son, a sex-tourism train ride, tens of millions of dollars in bribes and the NXIVM sex cult, who were big donors to Trudeau.

The Canadian version of our Department of Justice wanted to prosecute the Quebec company for bribery and corruption. Trudeau wanted to give the company deferred prosecution, basically a fine and slap on the wrist. Wilson-Raybould, the Attorney General, refused and insisted on prosecution. She was removed from office and demoted, and eventually resigned. Ms. Philpott resigned also in protest of the lack of ethics of the Trudeau government. Both women were expelled from their political parties by Trudeau. There were others who resigned as well, though more to save their own hides. This is a huge scandal in Canada and it is really shining a light on the corruption that rivals our own Democratic party.

Think Washington, District of Corruption, except because we have 1/10 the population, the ‘elites’ are much more concentrated in Ottawa-Gatineau and Montreal. In general, Canadians really liked Obola and dislike PDJT.

Because Quebecois (French Quebecers) make up 20-25% of the population and generally have a secular, strongly Jesuit-influenced belief system, they are often at odds with English Canada, which historically was English and Scottish protestant. For centuries, the Quebecois isolated themselves from the rest of Canada, quietly following the direction of their priests, to remain isolated from Canada and just keep on tithing to build magnificent cathedrals.

There was great discontent in Quebec, when conscription began during WW1. They thought of it as an ‘English War’ and wanted nothing to do with it. WW2 also brought a ‘conscription crisis’ in Quebec. In the ‘50s emerged the ‘quiet revolution’ in Quebec, where the Quebecois massively ditch the Roman Catholic faith, embracing secularism.

The Liberals realized that to maintain power, they started bringing in all kinds of Quebecois into the civil service, started making positions ‘bilingual manditory’ in places that were overwhelmingly English, and started giving billions to Quebec. This situation remains to this day. The French are overly represented in Cabinet, overly represented in the civil service, overly represented in transfer payments and overly represented in Federal government offices. (MANY Crown Corporations and Federal Agencies have head offices in Montreal.)

Since AB is, and has been for years, the principal source of ‘equalization payments’ that go primarily to Quebec, it is no surprise that a recent survey showed that 50% of the population in Alberta look favorably on separation.

Pierre Trudeau was against fighting the Nazis during WWII. He thought Quebecois should stay out of it.

Both were tossed out of Cabinet for daring to call Turd-owe on an illegal, CRIMINAL action. He and many in his Cabinet, pressured Wilson-Raybould, the AG, to NOT pursue an indictment against SNC-Lavalin and then fired her. The other MP stood up for Wilson-Raybould. Eventually, they were both tossed out of caucus via FIAT of Turd-owe rather than VOTE of Caucus, per the LAW. The Ethics Committee of the House of Commons (controlled by the Liberals) then ruled that even THIS was legal.

It is too chilly here to be a ‘banana republic’, so I guess that we are a ‘maple syrup republic’. CABAL is a perfectly descriptive word to describe our gubmint.

Unfortunately, just as the Demonrats are entrenched in the District of Corruption, the media, and many businesses in the US, so too are Lieberals in Canada. It will take at least a decade to root them all out but hopefully Scheer has the guts/strength for the task.

I would suspect that eventually, Jason Kenney will move back to Federal politics. I believe that he has a much better personality to lead, than Scheer. Time will tell.

The good news is that Turd-owe is NOT liked in Quebec, outside of Montreal because of all the immigrants and the fact that he called a Quebecoise ‘racist’ for not wanting to pay for them. In ON, his power base is Toronto (immigrants) and socialists) but hopefully, the FordNation can help change that.

I look forward to October 21!
