Sad to say, there are a lot of former military folks who have somehow awakened on the wrong side of their rack. Guess the didn’t really mean it when they swore their oath. My dad swore me in and I still honor and respect the oath 50+ years later as it still carries the same weight now as then.

Will most likely be back up there next week. BTW we had dinner at the Carson Valley CC last time we were there. One of the other patrons overheard we were from CA and had just purchased a place there. He told us:” just dont bring your CA politics with you!” My wife replied that she was a two-term past president of her Republican Women’s Club and I told him that i was a former three-term elected member of the County Republican Central Committee, and furthermore that we liked guns and actually had one out in the car!” His reply:”God Bless you both and welcome to Douglas County!” We constantly remark to one another just how friendly and decent everyone there is. And the cost of everything is so much less. I think gasoline is a buck a gallon cheaper there than in the Bay Area.
I think the dems got many former military to run in their party.
I believe THAT’S exactly how they won in 2018.
