Romney, and McCain before him, are actually testaments to the wisdom of the GOPe who tried to push Jeb Bush on us in 2016.
The more that Romney makes these counter pronouncements, the more he's going to discredit the establishment and drive voters to Trump.
McConnell better beware.

Perhaps we dodged a bullet both times when first McCain, then Romney, surrendered preemptively to the Magic Mulatto, but it was only to fall upon a hand grenade.
Either way, the mire in The Swamp would still have been just as deep in 2016.
