Congress would have had to do more if this whole charade didn’t exist. Trump had great poll numbers and that would have allowed him to greatly pressure Congress to do more.

I don’t think you get what the rest of us are saying. We know Congress didn’t want to do these things. That wouldn’t have mattered if Trump was at 60+% in the polls and had no albatross around his neck from Sessions/Deep State/Russian issues.

And the facts simply don't support this statement. For one thing, Trump would never have been at 60%+ in the polls under any circumstances. More importantly, go back to the 2016 election landscape and look again at what happened. I'm almost certain that every victorious GOP Senator and House member won his or her 2016 election by a wider margin than Trump won in those particular states/districts.

Think about that last point for a moment, and then ask yourself if what you posted here makes any sense at all.
