I grew up near the once-great San Jose (we kids could easily walk to it), saw a zillion movies in the former theaters there.

That's back when it was proudly referred to as "the Garden City", and gorgeous fruit tree orchards occupied (seemingly, to this kid's eyes) most of the land area.

My first post-collegiate job was there; and, I've flown into the airport in question many, many times.

The city has changed, Garden City is now Litter and Crime and Graffiti and Homeless Camps City.
