Automatic alarms are false calls 99% of the time.
I’d like to know the names of all the crew members working that day!
Mohammed, Achmed, Rashid, Ali.......................
Wouldn’t surprise me.
Guess this was that 1%.
so the first alarm sounds as if it might have been a smoke alarm.
someone non technical was in charge to check. he/she looked up but he was 200 feet away and maybe there was something going on on top of a scaffold or ledge not visible from below.
he/she went back to their office without climbing up.
the smoke turned to fire.
maybe this is why arson is not suspected by authorities?
So, one menu entree, drink and fries (of two kinds)?
Nah, doesn’t look like a money-laundering operation at all!!
lol
what is the protocol for leaving lithium battery power tools at the worksite in a place like that?
it is full of flammables. imho the protocol should have been to remove all lithium power tools at the end of the day, every day, no exceptions, and buddy doublechecks and checklists. maybe that is 20-20 hindsight. dunno.
Now there’s a possibility! left on a charger at the end of the day..............................
You might like “Better Call Saul,” a spinoff of Breaking Bad.” Imagine if Jackie Chiles had his own series based in Albuquerque. And a slightly smarter Kramer as one of his primary clients.
I did see the commercials all the time for BCS.
I have no idea what you’re trying to show us here. Please explain, OP.
They don’t have broccoli!
One thing that does ring true...
If you knew European laborers, (especially the French and the Italians) you’d know they’re like Fred Flintstone when the end of work whistle blows. Yaba daba doo and they’re out of there!!!
So the fact that by 5:30 pm they were gone doesn’t surprise me at all. More likely the started putting their tools up at 4:30 pm...
Yes, I know. I worked on a contract we had with the German government in Berlin, back around 2000-01.
They are very punctual.........about leaving..............
[They dont have broccoli!]
What if it was deep-fried in chocolate sauce?
[youd know theyre like Fred Flintstone when the end of work whistle blows. Yaba daba doo and theyre out of there!!!]
I believe you.
This is footage from a Twitter account. You can click on the pic and read the conversation to get an idea of what it suggests.
How dare you use common sense, reason, and rational thought. Possible causes after the workers leave for the day include spontaneous combustion from improperly stored cleaning rags or fluids; gas leak (i.e., welding gas); un-extinguished cigarette; spark that simmers in combustible materials; faulty wiring, etc.
Not true!
Was covered in scaffolding in 1994 when I was there several times.
Can I just say it?
We are all just keeping our mouths shut, quietly hoping that we’re wrong about the origins of this fire.
Obviously we don’t KNOW with 100% certainty....we’re just waiting for the investigation to figure it out like the rest of the planet....but...will anyone actually be surprised, shocked, stunned...even a little if it turns out to be arson? The potential perp(s) have had time to travel now.
Honestly, I hope I’m wrong. That would be refreshing in a way.
