Even if it was an act of terror, Christians should remember that not one life was taken, and it was just a building. We should react like Whoville did on the morning of Christmas - by singing praises to God the Most High, who created the heavens and the earth and all of us on it.
It’s probably one of the most storied and documented buildings in the world. It can be re-created; but it will be tooled with modern implements, and without the same heart and soul that generations put into building the original. The soul will be nothing like the original - unless, over time, it is imbued with the spirit of a great regeneration of faith, in France as well as the wider world.
I have no problem with rebuilding, if people want to do it. But it’s an incredibly tragic loss.
(I like the way you think.)
First of all, The Who's were singing the praise of Fahoo Fores Dahoo Dores, whatever god that is. And secondly, I just remember the Grinch hating Christmas and repenting when his cardiovascular condition improved, although and enlarged heart normally kills people. But he did, not declare jihad and , burn their churches down and killing all Fahoo Fores Dahoo Dores believers.
Meanwhile our President has offered his experts to help with the rebuilding.
