She thought her money and a good lawyer could buy her way out of this mess. Tragically for her, she was wrong. Not only wrong, but she’s made it far worse. Sucks to be her.
She made a big mistake by not taking the deal she was offered, so the Feds did what they always do, drop a much bigger hammer, and now she has no choice. The Feds won’t go back to the original deal and the only choice left is to fight and hope for the best. But as someone else has observed, the guy she bribed took the deal offered to him, which likely means he will testify at her trial. I see prison in her future.
