Pop icon Cher said Sunday that Los Angeles, California, cant take care of its own residents, much less newly arrived illegal and legal immigrants.
Cher said she failed to understand how the city of Los Angeles in the sanctuary state of California could afford to admit and take care of any more immigrants when city officials have failed to care for homeless, veterans, and poverty-stricken Americans.
I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Cant Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More, Cher said.
The post came after President Trump threatened to bus border crossers and illegal aliens into sanctuary cities and states, like California, if the countrys asylum laws were not changed. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that the White House is considering the plan.
In response, Democrat mayors across the country like New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf have welcomed bringing illegal aliens and border crossers to their cities.
While left-wing mayors say they will continue to admit any and all illegal and legal immigrants, Los Angeles is home to the second largest homeless population in the country, second to only New York City. About 50,000 residents of Los Angeles are homeless and about 7.5 percent of Californias American Veteran population is homeless.
As the city remains crippled by homelessness and skyrocketing housing costs, Los Angeles metro area is also home to the second largest illegal alien population with nearly a million illegal aliens living in the region...

Well Cher, in that case, we’ll put your city down for....shall we say, an even hundred thousand for migrats?
My worry would be "squatters"
Lets fast forward a few years....
Bubbles pop, trade plummets, paper assets go bust.
Only those who hold hard assets (1%) hide away in
their gated communities.
Gov’t censoring and trying to confiscate guns.
Millennials and SJW who are gobsmacked and melting.
Push for a NPV
A judiciary who burns the Constitution.
Rise of the machines and automation cutting entire sectors of jobs.
Collapse of the social welfare state.
Pensions go boom.
Homeless camps in corner of the USA.
Law enforcement overwhelmed or simply looks the other way
(or nothing more than tax collectors).
And tens of millions of low-skilled illegals who are hungry, desperate and poor.
USA turning into the “Hunger Games”.
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG????

It was a beautiful state in the 70s and 80s. My brother who just retired back to NY state lived in a beautiful section of Encino. I guess there are still some nice places.
Stephanopolous was whining yesterday on one of the Sunday shows that “border protection” was a campaign promise Trump didn’t keep. I yelled at the TV and left the room.
Sonny had too run into a tree and kill himself too get rid of that one.
This will not stop the surge. No incentive for migrants to not come...
The short-run is important because of the census which is getting underway—I doubt Wyoming Utah, etc. will get enough evacuees to make a difference in the 2020 census...But sending a million migrants to sanctuary cities may.
So I fear this will his it will hurt long term.
I left San Jose in 1973.
We are a god 30 minute drive from the town. The neighbors would alert us if anything was amiss up there. I think we are all of the same persuasion. My husband said all you could here yesterday afternoon was the sound of shooting coming from the neighboring properties. (;
I wonder if you got Cher privately what she really thinks.
Remember what her fanbase is primarily composed of: gay men.
Disingenous
I asked that type of question about the caravans....
Hundreds of people walking 3000 miles & WHERE were they depositing their human waste???
In all those caravan pictures, I never saw a porta pottie.....
Today’s employment ‘pool’ is driving all employers to drug test.
