WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump's reelection campaign is set to report that it raised more than $30 million in the first quarter of 2019, edging out his top two Democratic rivals combined, according to figures it provided to The Associated Press.
The haul brings the campaign's cash on hand to $40.8 million, an unprecedented war chest for an incumbent president this early in a campaign.
The Trump campaign said nearly 99% of its donations were of $200 or less, with an average donation of $34.26.
Trump's fundraising ability was matched by the Republican National Committee, which brought in $45.8 million in the first quarter its best non-election year total. Combined, the pro-Trump effort is reporting $82 million in the bank, with $40.8 million belonging to the campaign alone.
Trump formally launched his reelection effort just hours after taking office in 2017, earlier than any incumbent has in prior years. By contrast, former President Barack Obama launched his 2012 effort in April 2011 and had under $2 million on hand at this point in the campaign.
Obama went on to raise more than $720 million for his reelection. Trump's reelection effort has set a $1 billion target for 2020.
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement that Trump "is in a vastly stronger position at this point than any previous incumbent president running for re-election, and only continues to build momentum."
Trump's fundraising with the RNC is divided between two entities: Trump Victory, the joint account used for high-dollar gifts, and the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, the low-dollar digital fundraising operation known internally as "T-Magic." The campaign is set to launch a traditional "bundling" program which it lacked in 2016 in the coming weeks. Bundlers are mid-tier donors who bring in contributions from...

Six months or so before the election I will make a donation directly to Trump.
A ton of money was a good, exciting thing for Clinton, but the media will try to turn it into an evil thing for Trump.
This is a crime.
Obstruction of Social Justice Warriors
Orange man money bad. Soros money good. Go figure.
I remember at a press conference the media asking George W how he was going to spend all that money, and Bush said...
just watch me. Ha Ha.
I will absolutely be donating to the campaign myself. Best presidency of my lifetime! We need another four years of it
Take that wampum woman!
I received another RNC survey/donation plea and they managed to once again make it as offensive as possible. Torn up and trashed. Never again RNC.
Anything I give goes straight to the PDJT website.
Yes I receive based on voter registration and not listed in phone book.
Recently was from Melania for RNC
Past there was a survey for NJ XXth CD
Still not enough. He needs BILLIONS
Much better to return the envelope with a nasty message to the RNC
“Much better to return the envelope with a nasty message to the RNC”
Been done many times. I simply don’t even think they read the responses...just look for a check or donation included. Got tired of them just pushing their GOPe candidates on us.
The most insulting part is they give 3 payment options:
1 - I am sending $50+ in support of RNC...
2 - I don’t have much but am sending $15 to cover processing fee for the survey. (which they most likely don’t read anyway)
3 - I am sending nothing because I don’t support Trump or Republicans at all...
“Six months or so before the election I will make a donation directly to Trump.”
i gave the max last time; this time i’m going to try to use my max donation to pay my way into one those meet-and-greet dinners for big donors ... will go as a couple and donate double that way ... meeting Trump in a small-group setting like that is the only item on my bucket list ...
these numbers are really astonishingly good news, because it means hundreds of thousands of people gave small donations in just these last three months, even though the election is still a year and a half in the future ... that’s a very powerful grassroots showing, and the implications of those numbers should have the Dems and their dying lying leftist fake stream enemedia minions in a full blown panic ...
“3 - I am sending nothing because I dont support Trump or Republicans at all...”
Seriously? If so it’s like they are trying cover the lack of money by blaming it on Trump.
Trump don’t need billions to run for reelection. Those capable of critical thought should now understand they’ve been conned and looted for decades by the career government ruling class. Every thing they touched became tainted and corrupted.
Look up super rich Meg Whitmen. At the time she made history spending billions of her own. And she got smoked.

President Trump, you magnificent bastard. Like the above posters, in the last 6 months of the campaign I will start making my donations.
Just wait until we get our tax refunds!!!!
