Only tried a hard drug once.

Some kind of animal tranquilizer.

I was a big guy at the time but wow did it blow me off the planet.

That was enough for me.

Khat. It’s what 95% of the Somalians spend their Simolians on. All those Skinnies can’t be wrong.

Works great for pain if you can get over the taste.

Just what the next generation needs. Mind altering drugs to go along with the Godless socialism and depravity being shoved down everyone’s throats.

That Fox News article reads like something Jeff Sessions would have written. Real balanced...not. Prohibition tone...yes.

From what I have read most kratom users are disappointed with the weak “mind-altering” effects, yet it works well for pain and gives a little energy boost with a real small dose.

Lol “...to our kids”

Good grief, Faux News Correspondent, if those were my kids I would be the one taking drugs.

Kratom does not get you high at all. It is a natural herb that works great for pain relief and supposedly helps addicts kick their opiate habit.

There have been 100 reported deaths in the past 17 months where people had kratom in their system, but ~80% of them also had large amounts of heroin, fentanyl, prescription painkillers or cocaine in their system as well. I suspect they were trying to kick their habit with kratom, failed, got high and ODed.

For the 17 people who died with only kratom in their system, every drug is going to have a small number of people who have a bad reaction to it, especially if you are taking far more than the recommended dose. Tylenol kills 10,000s every year by destroying their livers, and I suspect kratom has a far lower death rate than Tylenol.

Kratom is the best OTC pain reliever I’ve ever taken. It’s legal in my state. Take to many and it makes me want to go to sleep.

Find the right dosage and it is seriously effective pain relief with no side effects. Way better relief than 800mg of Ibuprofen or four adult aspirin.

It worked wonders on my last round of lower back issues.

The pharmaceutical companies are the ones who will lose big if it’s not scheduled as a restricted “drug”.

For me the jury is still out and snowflakes are just as viable a test base as lab rats.

Somehow the opinion of one “Doctor” with no hard evidence of anything is to be taken for the truth? I have no experience with that particular drug, but before I take it or become concerned about it, I would like some hard evidence from a source other than the media.
