I'm OK with 30 round mags in M4s, but I prefer 20 round mags in the full size AR.

I first saw 30 rd magazines in RVN. The grunts loaded 20 rounds in them & said they were more reliable that way; they had loaded no more than 15 to 18 rds in the 20 rd ones.
