Before we even think about changing the constitution we need to figure out how we can force the government to follow the current one. The overwhelming majority of our problems come from failure to abide by the current constitution, not because of flaws in the constitution. I have often said that the drive to change the constitution is like a diabetic who insists that he needs a new medicine because his metformin is not doing the job but fails to mention that he is not taking it but is eating candy bars instead. Our government hardly bothers to even pretend to follow the constitution now.
You needn’t worry. There are lots of rules and procedures.
Try this, pick the thing you think would go against the Constitution as provided for us, and state that.
Then list for us all, 38 states that would ratify (approve) of that crazy idea.
List them all here for us.
