In 3,,,,2,,,,1 ,AOC screaming Global Warming
Good luck! I have a cabin toward the south end of Toledo Bend in the Hemphill area but live far away (in AZ); hope it’s still standing when I make it back.
Just rain, thunder and lightening here in SW Arkansas. Each hour “nothing” happens the better. I noticed the Weather Channel reduced their “Tor Con” from 7 to 5 for Shreveport. Here we are on the edge but not on edge, yet.
Ugh! My son is in Crystal Springs MI working on an airforce project. Flies back on Wednesday.
Here are some good links - avoid Intellicast\Weatherunderground - they are horrible since the merger.

*****CLIMATE CHANGE*****
John Kerry just said so a couple days ago.
Stay safe and be weather aware.
Our local Gainesville, GA garden show was joking about hail the size of softballs possible with this storm.
the bastards at weatherunderground bought and destroyed intellicast. which was a perfectly useful and functional weather radar site for times like this.
We live just north of Hondo and had high winds but thankfully no hail. Hadn’t heard about a tornado any where near by. Got .70 of rain.
There are reports of people injured in Franklin, Texas
They are predicting a long night/Early morning here in Alabama.
Hope its not anything close to the 2011 outbreak that devastated Tuscaloosa, parts of Birmingham and many other towns in the state. That day was pure Hell.
The April 3, 1974 outbreak decimated my small town but I was too young to remember much of it.
Lets hope this system falls apart quickly.
Been kind of “coolish” here so fingers crossed they’ll peter out a bit.
I hear ya. We’re only about 20 minutes or so from Beauregard, where those two big ones killed all those folks several weeks ago.
here we go
Yes.
Be safe!
TN can get rough. That gulf moisture gets going good.
That ‘74 outbreak caught me in a wild one. Windy as heck all day then total calm. Bamm!
AL is first up though.
