I am not referencing legal precedent.

I am refering to an overarching principle.

The overarching principle happens to be adopted as a rationale which formed the basis for legal precedent.

Go to fundamental principle and do not let yourself be troubled by legal bafflegab.

The overarching principle was “let’s vote in 2016 on an advisory referendum to see what the British people think”

and this was both a time-based and an advisory referendum.

any new referendum to clarify what people thought 3 years ago must by very principle have the option “perhaps you changed your mind”

So Q1 should be “do you want to remain in the EU+customs union yes or no” and then ONLY for LEAVE should it be filtered.

It’s also in LEAVE’s best interests to filter out those who want to REMAIN. If remain loses 49.9% to 50.1%, then they do not get a chance to decide on what type of Brexit.

Because if you ask to remove the multiple choice question then you will DEFINITELY not get a hard brexit. you will get the most votes for May’s plan.
