In keeping with the radical proposals their presidential candidates are backing, Democrats in Congress are ready to enshrine science denial in the law.
Now the party of abortion and sodomy wants to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include the “transgendered,” that subset of the mentally ill who think they are members of the opposite sex.
The practical result: Schools will have to permit boys who pretend they are girls to play on girls' teams, and prisons will have to permit men who pretend they are women to live in the women's wing of the lock-up.

I don’t know why any normal girl would ever go into sports at school anymore. Just abandon it and start outside groups.
Democrats are evil scum.
I hope that Democrats make this ideology a centerpiece of their 2020 election strategy.
Include girl’s sports on the list of things the Left has destroyed.
Of course this won’t get through the Senate or survive the presidential veto pen.
We have to remember that about 90% of proposed legislation from Democrats isn’t intended to actually become law. It’s purpose is to rile up one or another of the disparate “Identity Politics” groups who they depend on to win elections. Corey Booker’s Reparations law? Same thing.
Just wait, there soon will be some ridiculous law proposed making the wearing of hijabs mandatory or banning pork from public school menus. We must keep those “diverse” voters pissed off at all times!

Hell I might go back to my high school (they were a four year school). Only that school no longer exists, damn it.
But eleven years ago, we had Freepers insisting that people fervently opposing politicians pursuing this agenda are purists that will destroy conservatism.
I had the same fantasy.
A couple of days ago I was looking at my high school annual for the first time in many years.
Those girls looked just as good as I remembered.
Wrong attitude. It should be that any man comes in or out of my daughter's (in my case grand-daughter's) bathroom will end up without the male appendage, completely taken off and some of the internal stuff also including testicles, sack, and prostrate with a red hot poker.
The lawsuits need to start flying.
