It could be President Trump telling the British, I will support you leaving the EU , but on one condition, get that Mr. Aassage arrested.

” I see Assange as a hero.

He should have won the Pulitzer.”

I emphatically agree.

Perhaps the greatest journalist in history.

Assange is fundamentally anarchist & a receiver of stolen goods. It just so happens that for a brief period he did something we like. He could probably use some of that to cut a good deal.

Interesting that after all this time he is arrested when Barr suggests investigations will finally begin on zero and the beast......

Hillary had reportedly said some time back "can't we just drone this guy"

The Deep State can’t allow him to testify.
Unfortunately, Mr. Assange will probably commit suicide or is it Arkancide.

Assange has long claimed that he has a network in place to serve as a “dead switch” in the event that he was arrested. It is assumed that there would be a substantial document dump should something like this happened.

I’m holding my fire until I find out whether these going to be transferred to the doj or will be speaking first the house investigative committees under the watchful eye of Nancy Lugosi and Adam Shifty. I’m sure between them, Hillary, the CIA, British intelligence and Obama remainders in the FBI they might have the first crack at him with an offer he can’t refuse.

In the British tradition, Hillary also said, “Who will rid me of this burdensome hacker!?!?!?”

Assange should get a medal. If not for him we would never have known about all the NSA spying. He did the world a favor.

Assange isn’t a US citizen and didn’t operate in US jurisdiction, so it’ll be interesting to see what they charge him with, if anything at all.

I suspect that this is less an arrest for trial than protective custody rescue.

Assange was the conduit, the pipe, through which the messages were transmitted. If not him and Wikileaks, then another conduit ito the mainstream would have been utilized

We are yet to learn how the vast horde of Clinton/Democrat secrets will be used to bring them down.

He’s suppose to have a dead man’s switch. He’s also suppose to have Hillary’s 33K emails.

Why was he selected as the “conduit”? He committed crimes and will be charged by the US. He skipped bail.

Assange is no hero. But I don’t believe he was working with the Russians nor were the Russians responsible for the hacking of the DNC and Podesta.

Just guessing, but I’m thinking they want to bring Assange in, offer him a deal in exchange for everything Wiki knows on the Deep State Coup.

——Why was he selected as the “conduit”?——

The answer is beyond my capacity.

I would suggest Wikileaks was chosen simply because it is a big pipe. It carries a lot of info to a lot of tanks

“This is really bad news.”

It LOOKS like bad news. But as another FReeper posted on another thread, maybe PDJT is bringing him in to protect him from Hillary, Obama, etc. Since TSHF with Barr yesterday, there may be some desperate people determined to tie up loose ends, e.g., Seth Rich.

Oh, one more thing. Why is this release any more import and or criminal than the release of the Pentagon Papers?
