We exchanged our Garmin radio transponders with BP so that they would know us right off the bat as friend and not foe.
We wore IR strobes on our gear so that the helo with night vision as well as people on the ground knew we were friend.
AND never ever forget, YOU WORK FOR US, We the People.
This comment wins the internet.
“...AND never ever forget, YOU WORK FOR US, We the People...”
Eartick, Brother Dawg... WOOF!!
Well-said, and it’s a point too often overlooked. At the end of EVERY day, they work FOR us.
I am not in management(brass). It sounds like your group was able to coordinate some what with border patrol, as far as I know at my station we have not coordinated with militias.
I am not suprised that agents were friendly, they have no reason not to be as long as you are not breaking the law. Like I said I understand your frustration and believe most militia are trying to help. The problem is that for the most part what they do does not help. It is not that militias are not trying, but due to legal restrictions they really cant do much.
