In the U.S., the goal is always to collect more money without an option.
Can I opt out of paying for public schools if I will never use them? Can I opt out of paying for social security and not collect the benefit? No. Bernie wants to force me and everyone to pay for a crappy government health provider program, without alternative healthcare options. He even wants us all to pay for everyone’s crappy university entitlement. So why should government employees get the option not to pay the bosses?
Maybe bigger changes are on the way brother.

Government unions were a bad idea from the start. Even FDR was against them, if I recall.
Sorry, the only “choice” the government gives you is the choice to murder your baby. Everything else is mandatory.
You’re not making a lot of sense. Do you really believe workers, any of them should be forced to pay dues to an organization they want nothing to do with?
