Featuring...Simba (Donald Glover) is seen being confronted by hyenas Kamari, (Keegan-Michael Key) Shenzi (Florence Kasumba) and Azizi (Eric Andre) as villainous uncle Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor) enters the elephant graveyard

The trailer looks cool.
I’m not sure I understand what the point of remaking this is.
UGH.
As a former zookeeper, this is far too Uncanny Valley for my tastes.
Just enough like, but NOT enough like the real animals that it just doesn’t work.
The voice actor list for this movie is a who’s who of far left moonbat resistance movement vermin, from Seth Rogan to John Oliver, among others.
Ill watch the old film from the 90s at home and save myself 30 bucks !
Well, yes, other than the obvious greed of Disney, and their lack of imagination.
translation: we’re out of new ideas, so we’re rehashing our cartoons to milk the cow for all it’s worth
MONEY! The DISNEY RAT can never be satiated.
Colossal waste of time: “Do not feed The Disney Rat.”
Never seen it.
Wow! Too bad I am boycotting Disney for many, many reasons.
I do not. Have hated those bastards for decades now because of how badly they've screwed up our system of copyright.
I'm a big Lego fan, and they just released a Lego model of 'Steamboat Willie'. My first thought was, if they'd just waited a few more years it would be in the public domain and they wouldn't have to feed the rat for it.
I generally make exceptions for anything which is very good and has a positive impact on our country. I’m hoping they follow the original script and not make it into something it’s not.
Oh it was a fabulous deal years ago.....great family entertainment and especially good for kids. Doing it now in CGI will make it realistic rather than an animated cartoon.
We’ll have to see if the music and the voice overs are equally as well presented. But the trailer certainly got my attention.
Oh come on......it’s just entertainment really....
I wouldn’t know nor do I care one way or the other....as long as they use the original script rather than screw it up as they often do.
Re-makes aren’t generally as good as the original....but in this case, with cgi, that’s well worth the risk as the script was a great influence for kids...and frankly adults.
I’m for anything that’s good with all the trash that’s out there today.....
Well it’s time that you do!
Sorry you feel that way.....if the script is close to what it was this will be great for kids and youth to see.
I’m not into boycotting longterm as it’s impact is really only for a time. They will change or not..and everyone then moves on.
