Acting U.S. Defence Secretary Patrick Shanahan has approved a request (on 9 April) to identify places to potentially house up to 5,000 unaccompanied migrant children, the Pentagon said on Wednesday. In March, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) requested Pentagon support to identify locations to house unaccompanied migrant children through Sept. 30.

It is 100,000 people per month. 60 something percent of those are family units. Assuming an average size family unit of three, that would be about 20,000 per month.
Still a huge number to care for and feed.
This request is for unaccompanied children only, so it looks like there is some kind of family separation planned.

Didn’t the President say the US is “full?” Why do we keep admitting foreign children then? They will be the whining “dreamers” of the future, adding to the problems of our country.

I can think of a number of Dems and Silicon Valley people (the kind who have fortified bunkers in New Zealand) who have *multiple* homes they are not using at any particular moment.
How about “housing “ them in their home country???
How about another “children’s crusade”? Load them on ships, and think of them no more...
