More on the breach from CBS Miami

A Chinese woman accused of illegally entering President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club with a flash drive containing malware, also had numerous electronic devices and thousands in cash stashed in her hotel room.

That from federal prosecutors Monday at Yujing Zhang’s detention hearing in West Palm Beach who are outlining their case as to why Zhang is a flight risk.

Prosecutors say they found multiple electronic devices in her hotel room, including a signal detector that can seek out detect hidden cameras, another cell phone, nine USB drives and five SIM cards. There were also several credit cards in her name.

There was $7,600 in cash and $7,500 of that was in $100 U.S. bills. She also had $663 in Chinese currency in her room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach County, according to prosecutors.

After the intrusion, the Secret Service issued a memo on security procedures for Mar-a-Lago.

Secret Service statement on Mar-a-Lago security procedures: https://t.co/lGBzkzns0n— U.S. Secret Service (@SecretService) April 3, 2019

"On March 30, 2019, physical screening was conducted by the Secret Service once Mar-a-Lago staff determined an individual was to be granted access to the property. After the first physical screening, Mar-a-Lago staff transported the individual by a shuttle to the next screening checkpoint," the memo stated. "Individuals are prohibited from disembarking the shuttle between screenings and the route is monitored by Secret Service personnel. After undergoing screening at the second Secret Service checkpoint the individual, per club protocol, was immediately met by club reception. The Mar-a-Lago reception staff then determined  that the individual should not have been authorized access by their staff and Secret Service agents took immediate action resulting in the arrest of the individual."

Why didn’t the Secret Service investigate the FISA phone tap?

I’m wondering about this “smart businessman” stuff; it makes no sense.

Maybe not to you but to the real world it makes sense. Immediate termination of duties and time to clear out his office...........Sheesh!

Sun Tzu started working for King Helu of Win in approximately 510 BC. After writing The Art Of War he was given an audience with the king who challenged him to train the court concubines, offering him the command of the army if he succeeded.

Sun Tzu explained the command for marching but when the drums sounded the women burst out laughing. This helped Sun Tzu to explain that if orders are not clear then the general is at fault and repeated his explanation only to have similar results. This helped him explain that if the orders are given but not followed then it is the fault of the officers.

So he had the women’s commanders, the king’s favorite concubines, beheaded. After the two were executed and replaced the women obeyed the orders precisely.

Many of these AFGE idiots to include retired Gens who made Gen under Obama all need to be fired. The VA is back to killing Vets again as my BIL went in with obvious colon cancer problems. The VA operated, put a stent between liver and colon. He suffered 3-4 days at home yelling in pain and puking mucous full of blood. He was given no pain meds. He died a terrible death.

>>>What is she even doing in the country?

She was detained at Mar-a-Lago after trying to gain access to events advertised on Chinese-language social media by Li “Cindy” Yang, the South Florida massage parlor entrepreneur who also ran a business selling access to President Donald Trump and his family.

“Who knew “The Apprentice” was training for POTUS?”

Growing a business into a global, billions of dollars enterprise doesn’t count?

Shouldn’t that count just a bit for something, or are you impressed only with politicians who are good at tricking people into voting for them?

Honestly, this is why I really like Trump, he holds government employees as accountable as he would hold a private employee. Also, after an employee completes his/her task, he sends them on their way, rather than modifying their task to keep them on the government payroll.

“If you are a true conservative, you know the difference between private vs public, govt and private sector etc..”

I am a true conservative, and I worked for decades in government Human Resources — in California, no less — and we’ve walked plenty of people out the door. When the exits weren’t immediate, while they sat in an H.R. office, their computer passwords were shut down, access cards/badges were deactivated, and desks were packed up. Technically, they could come back if they wanted to, but they’d better bring a book to read for the time they’d be there.

Husband was T.S. for government. People “disappeared” from their offices almost magically. Poof!

I also worked for large corporations such as GE, and Security walked bad apples out the door as they carried their file boxes.

When America’s future is in jeopardy, you can’t afford to play nicey-nice.

A very clumsy intelligence operation if that was what it was!

Semi-pro. Russian oligarchs run a lot of freelance ops like this on behalf of the Russian government for deniability if something goes wrong. I assume the Chicoms are picking up on KGB Vlad’s techniques.
