Leftists have a penchant for wearing their faults on their backs, but...this takes the cake. Let me translate:

What I have learned and what I believe will be the final word on my campus, and for your own good, I am going to restrict what you are allowed to say. Listening to an argument or statement and refuting it is simply not suited to today's world.

Scratch the skin of any Leftist and you will find a tyrant within.

It is not because I think college campuses should be safe havens from voices on the left and right that violate what I have learned and what I believe. My opposition is just as strong when it comes to free speech arguments in support of voices that affirm my beliefs.

This, about to be ex college President, is full of it, but I believe you misread his original statement.
