What a great man , I served as a 91ALPHA 1985-1993 (MOS =combat medic) CSM’s are the cream of the crop. The new Lewies (butter bars) learn all they can from these great men . God bless this man and his family for his actions under fire . I will never know how the Army was at that time as I was barely 6 years old watching it on the nightly news. For those of you who don’t know , to reach the rank of CSM is the hardest non-officer rank and these guys actually run the show...don’t let anyone else tell you different.
