Joe Biden on Friday twice made joking references to complaints from women that his physical behavior made them uncomfortable.
The former vice-president’s comments came during his first public appearance since the allegations began to surface last week.
Taking the stage in Washington at a gathering of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Biden was introduced by the president of the union, Lonnie Stephenson.
Biden quipped: “I just want you to know – I had permission to hug Lonnie.”
The crowd, which was mostly male, erupted in laughter. Later, Biden made a similar joke after inviting a group of children onstage and putting his arm round a young boy.
“By the way, he gave me permission to touch him,” the former vice-president said, again to laughter.
“Everybody knows I like kids more than people,” Biden said.

Just dumb. Ever since the first time I watched Biden on TV, back in the early 70’s I knew he was incredibly stupid and have been forever mystified that few seem to also notice. Mind you, I’ve known and worked with a few extremely (and inexplicably) successful morons. So in that respect he’s hardly unique. Rep. Occasionally Coherent is just a more recent and extreme example.

It has been reported in the local “small” not MSM media locally, that Comet Pingpong where bad stuff was supposed to have happened in the basement, doesn’t even have a basement. The poor guy who went to DC with a rifle to stop what was happening in the basement, was arrested and convicted, so I’m pretty sure the reports of no basement were reported accurately at the time of trial.

Biden repeatedly violates women’s boundaries in sexual ways. Context is everything; you have to look at the totality of the circumstances.
If I’m standing in line at the supermarket and some guy sniffs my hair, that is waaaaayyyyy out of line. It’s a sexual move and it is absolutely not acceptable.
Women’s hair has much symbolism attached to it.
Attempts to minimize behaviors that add up to genuine sexual assault and abuse reveal quite a lot about the one making the effort to trivialize.
