They should get him for everything they can.
Make Kim Foxx pay for it.
The chances of the new mayor following through with this is right up there with the chance that Morgan Fairchild will knocking on my door this evening
Since he’s claiming innocence this is the right thing to do.
Paying them would be admitting guilt.
(yes, I know he’s not innocent)
the city doesn’t have a leg to stand on ... they failed to charge this miscreant for a single crime, so he doesn’t owe them a cent ... charging citizens for their investigation is something out of the old soviet union or even a franz kafka story ...
What a loathsome creature he is.
FULLY EXONERATED!
At least if you listen to Leftists.
Jussie & The Mooch
Triple damages ...
Where are the Feds on the investigation of the threat letter?
I cannot see a jury awarding the verdict on the city’s side. The city actually released him with only the $10,000 to be paid.
As much as I despise Jussie, the city needs to be told to suck it up. Whether or not Kim Foxx made the decision without telling them is not the point: She made the decision and it needs to be honored.
If the city wants true justice at this point they need to go after Kim Foxx and anyone outside of her office who influenced her actions.
Sounds like corruption in Chicago is running into a budget problem.
Mooch steps in and erases all charges, meanwhile CPD is racking up some serious OT.
Oh well.
And fox hasnt fired him.
I called this.
They were gonna let the heat die down and he’d be back.
CPD has gone soft.
In the old days, Jussie and Kim Foxx would have had their kneecaps broken by now and be spending the rest of their lives walking around on sticks.
he’s doubling down on dumbass.
It’s nice when you have Mike Obama on your side. Right?
Why is this in Breaking News?
There's no basis for the city to sue him. They should have included a restitution payment from Smollett to the city as a condition of dropping the charges.
The feds should lock this deviant up; these freaks routinely thumb their noses at us normals and get away with it.
Tiresome...
Did I miss it? Was reimbursement part of his deal?
It would be nice if it were. Broken contract is no contract
