“Unplanned” Actress Ashley Bratcher vs. Hollywood, Media, Abortion Industrial Complex
The New American ^ | 02 April 2019 | William F. Jasper

When actress Ashley Bratcher accepted the role of Abby Johnson for the movie Unplanned she was warned by the movie’s producers that it could be a career killer. The oh-so-tolerant cultural elites of Hollywood would likely blacklist her for starring in a film that attacks the sacred cow of abortion and dares to speak truth to power concerning Planned Parenthood. She didn’t back out and she isn’t backing down.

In an interview with Fox News last December, Bratcher said the role was worth it, “even if I’m blacklisted.” Despite a media blackout — including the refusal of most major media outlets even to run paid ads for the movie — the independently produced film has out-performed all industry expectations at the box office and earned the “highest per screen average” of any indie film debut in U.S. history.

I had free movie passes. My wife and I saw Unplanned.

The movie was remarkable. It was a very difficult story to tell on the screen. But the acting was very good and the film was very moving.

Despite refusals by TV stations to run advertising for the film and twitter sabotaging them the theatre was full.

Now I see the actress who played Abby Johnson is sincere in her beliefs.

If you have seen the film, please let me know what you thought.

Good for her, standing up for her beliefs, even if it costs her jobs. Hollywood seems to be about 98% pro-abortion.

Saw it over the weekend. Great film.
Outstanding acting. It was much better than Gosnell.

It’s long past time for a conservative studio to start up. There’s a market someone is missing.

Never gonna happen. The Deep State types would kill it in the cradle. Every wealthy person knows this so no one will invest.

When I read the first review of it which I saw on FR, I wondered what made the poster start sobbing uncontrollably.

When I went the other day, I saw what that was. Tears now over what the film showed; and what it showed was real, not counterfeit.

What heartlessness.

America, and the world, should see this film.

Excellent film; very disturbing to watch, very disturbing subject.

“Everyone” should see it.

Highly recommend! Take a teenager. See it ASAP so it makes enough money to stay in theaters.
