Trump protects Clinton,. Lynch, Obama and Holder. Why, I don’t know

It’s simple: President Trump (still not tired of writing that) is playing a long game, the way he always does. Short version: don’t go after them directly, so when they are taken down, you cannot be blamed.

President Trump really is a master strategist.

Another example is publication of the Mueller report. President Trump to the Democrats: “Don’t throw me into the briar patch.” LOL

He's not protecting them. He is not intervening into the day to day work of the DOJ. I really don't want a president to order the DOJ to investigate this person or that person. If Trump did that, it would be leaked immediately and Trump would then be making the DOJ partisan...and yes, I know it already is since there is a double standard. There would be hearings in the House and it would be a big mess.

As for Obama and Lynch and Holder - none of those will ever be brought to justice, so not sure why you expect that. That is way too much - it shouldn't be but that is the reality.

I think the most we can expect is for Comey, McCabe, etc to be charged with leaking, lying to the FBI and if we are lucky illegally obtaining warrants and bringing false charges, but I suspect it will only be leaking and lying. Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed.
