He thinks by making it a 2020 issue that it will seal his re election..what would have sealed his re election is if the wall was built, which is my other question, how much of the wall has been built, 10 percent, 20 percent, everyone says different so I want to know

Here’s the problem with these political calculations, the all run down the clock on his presidency. He becomes a lame duck the moment he takes his second oath of office. His first term has been eaten up by the Deep State and obstruction from the rest of government (even his own party) on the two major issues (to his base) of immigration/migration and Deep State political corruption.

The moment he becomes a lame duck, the forces of obstruction can simply kick in again and we find ourselves approaching 2024 with the problems we wanted solved in 2017 worse than they were, or certainly no better. He will have accomplished much on improving the economy in the short term. But that can be easily undone, and likely will be undone, in the blink of an eye. Kicking the can down the road for politics is not a winning move for term limited administration.
