A one year warning is stupid..so basically Mexico can keep sending thousands of illegals into this country and they have ONE year to make it stop, they wont, meantime millions will be pouring into this country..why not impose the tariffs now I dont get it

Yeah, this move baffles me as well. It looks entirely like kicking the can down the road. His base will not like this. This gives the appearance of waffling ineffectiveness. Like he doesn’t have the ability to live up to his words. It’s weakness...or it certainly appears to be.
Perhaps he simply isn’t worried about the Democrats being able to get a candidate that can challenge him...maybe Pete Buttboy doesn’t scare him much.
