The rhetoric the last 5 days is usually referred to as propaganda to gin up the base. maybe to pressure mexico, but the Mexican government for whatever they are is not as stupid, as some here, who believed Trumps rabble rousing and bluff.

The demand for recreational drugs needs to be met by FDA supervised production of relatively safe forms of drug solution intoxicates along the lines of the original cola beverage.

Furthermore to do all this successfully without it being blocked by an eager congress to stop any of it doesn't help the situation. If it were just a week or short period of time that's one thing.....but I don't think Trump is looking at a short closure. So the stage has to be set according to long term with the least amount of impact on our country and it's trade.
He needs to amend that statment and say, and the hard drugs stop today.

That’s funny. They’re not gonna stop the drugs. And if they do they’ll just move somewhere else. The American illegal drug market is over $100 BILLION dollars. Markets like that WILL BE FED. From Mexico, from China, from Canada. The profits are just too large to be ignored.
