Justin Amash is reconsidering his place in a party he is at odds with, isolated from Republicans that have largely bent to the will of the president.
The Michigan Republican is gaining a national following as a Congressman who isnt afraid to buck the Republican line, often going to toe to toe with the partys biggest star, President Donald Trump. Amash is a frequent critic of the president, often slamming Trump on Twitter, accusing him of violating the constitution and attacking Trumps character.

Justin Amash is a worthless liberal puke! Always has been and always will be.
He knows he couldn’t get elected in that area of W. Michigan as a demonrat, so he pretends to be a Republican that makes up excuses for why he can’t vote for everything.

I don’t know:
He can’t win.
Might draw anti-Trump donors’ money and attract some of the more idealistic young voters from the Dems.
Seems like a bad idea for him though.

No, it is called a free country.
The two-party system is failing, and they are plenty of Libertarians in this country.
Amash may only get 2%-4% of the vote nationally.

The nitwit back-bencher is a fool.
Partner, who is Justin Amash???
You are correct that not only is he a fool but he is a nothing in the Republican party.
Hopefully, the folks in the Great State of Michigan will boot him out of office.

ANY third party run is going to syphon off more Dem votes than from Trump.
Trump has the conservative and populist votes sewn up as long as he stays on course.
With the leftwing ever lurching more left, many moderates will avoid the Dem candidate. This may mean voting for Trump, a third party candidate, or staying home.
The Dems will be pulling out all of the stops, but President Trump now has a track record as a successful president and a lot of momentum going into 2020.
People also know more of what is at stake as he has forced the Dem and RINO hands on illegal immigration.
