Their produce has no flavor anyway. I think the varieties that will grow down there AND handle the trip up here is why it’s all flavorless. Same reason home grown can taste so much better. You can grow the better tasting stuff because you don’t have to worry about the storage/shipping qualities.
Bananas are an exception. Nice that they have a peel too as who knows what they’ll spray on food plants South of the USA.
Florida grows and sells Avocados.
No one can prove the short-supply of illicit drugs being a product of the border being closed. I know they talk about it. But there’s not enough proof to sustain that.
Now, if the State Department does deliver the investigation results over making the drug cartels into terrorist organizations, and puts them on the terror list....to hunt down via the US military, then I would agree with you...drug prices will escalate (more than triple) within a one-year period. That will be the more fascinating thing to occur, even out-ranking the building of the wall.

You're making the misguided assumption Trump will actually close the border. I don't see it, and I have never seen it happening.

And USA must import Avacados Why??? I didn’t eat any avocado until maybe 2000. The free market pricing “signals” will operate as usual.... The few US-grown Avacados will be bought by those with the most “need” and the most money for the produce.
I’m sure some enterprising person will set up an alternative to guacamole... check the hummus selection already in stores. What about beets, parsnips, turnips Don’t they deserve a mashed dip of their own?
I love avocados. I eat one almost eve4ry day. I’d gladly forego them in the interest of preserving my country.
