Yep. Low turnout and lousy candidateS are not a good mix. There were actually some interesting candidates among the fourteen in the primary. About 10% of the total voters supported the two that went to the runoff.

Can’t vote for someone who doesn’t want the job.

And what rational person, would even want to get involved with that zoo. And therein lies the rub.
