That that, with the obesity epidemic here, the whole system is toast in the long run. It is a big enough problem that left unaddressed, the Republic will be bankrupted by chronic health issues. I do not know the answer...maybe a combination of tax incentives and ins premiums scaled to risk (similar to life insurance). Something will have to be done, which doesn’t involve drugs or surgery for half the population.
Not going to happen.
Collins won’t remember that. One thing the old bat can always be counted on to do is to oppose anything that reeks of conservatism.
Why doesn’t she just declare herself a commie and get on with life.
She's running for reelection and concerned about that. Everything else pales by comparison.
I am really fed up with this Democrat posing as a Republican. You can always count on her to side with the Democrats and against Trump and the Republicans. A good case for term limits.
She is welcome to get 59 more Senators to pass a more definitive and Constitutional bill that does not allow such a review by the Supreme Court. She is then welcome to get a majority of Congressmen to support her. She is then welcome to get 67 Senators and 291 Congressmen to over ride after President Trump vetoes whatever garbage they initially send him.

I hate to break the news to you Bubba, but that’s not going to help since it’s those Republicans who “claim to be conservatives” that ARE THE PROBLEM! I mean Cornholio from Texas, Alexander from Tennessee, Paul and McConnell both from Kentucky, et al tell us that they are “conservatives,” and yet they do everything they can to block the only real conservative in the lot, Donald J. Trump!

Hey Susan, did you propose or vote for an alternative to the ACA when the Trump requested vote to overturn the ACA failed in the House and Senate?

This woman is like a piece of manure hanging around the neck of the GOP. She is far worse than useless. She actively plays for the other team while taking up a supposedly GOP seat better occupied by someone who is actually a Repub instead of a dummocrap.
If, as it seems quite likely, the court will decide that the ACA is unconstitutional then Collins and her like minded legislators need to submit a bill that will address their concerns. Failure to defend a regulation/law in court is not new for the DOJ or any states AG’s that do not agree with the regulation/law. Happens all too frequently.
They always keep the fake front it cons the slow thinking voters.
